Mums and dads in the Bromsgrove area are being offered free expert advice on how to obey the government’s new child seat law that came in to force on September 18, thanks to a company that is based on the Buntsford Hill Business Park in Bromsgrove.

The new legislation has been introduced in a bid to make Britain’s roads safer and requires parents to make sure their children are securely fastened in to their car by using the correct type of seat or restraints. Title: Worcesterball Run Proves A Big Hit
Story: Inaugural Japanese car rally enjoys substantial backing from Nemesis UK.

Nemesis UK, welcomed almost 40 Japanese sports cars to its headquarters recently when
the company hosted the start of the first-ever ‘Worcesterball Run’ – a 200-mile
vehicle rally that followed a route through the heart of the Midlands.

The non-competitive event was the brainchild of the Worcestershire Japanese Performance Club (WJPC) and was organised to promote the club’s activities and celebrate the UK’s flourishing Japanese performance car scene.

As the title sponsors of the event, Nemesis UK hosted the start of the event, before then joining the convoy of gleaming Subarus, Toyotas, Nissans and Hondas on their memorable journey. We also donated some prizes that were awarded to selected competitors at the post-event party.

The route for the treasure hunt-style event took crews through Redditch, Stratford-upon-Avon, Evesham, The Cotswolds, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Ross-on-Wye, before finishing in Malvern, Herefordshire.

Residents and motorists in the West Midlands region gave all the competitors a warm welcome and Nemesis UK managing director, Paul Tomlinson, said: “The event was a real credit to the WJPC members and went off superbly. It was a pleasure to support such a spectacular type of vehicle rally and we will definitely do the same again next year.

“A number of people that we mat at the shows were wondering where the Nemesis name had disappeared to, so going to Jap Show and Max Power Live was a priceless exercise in terms of getting the name back out there and communicating the fact that we mean business. We’re back on the map,” Tomlinson said.

The thrill of an opening night at the movies gripped a Bromsgrove-based company last weekend when Nemesis UK was chosen to provide a dazzling backdrop to the first official screening of ‘Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift’ at Birmingham’s Great Park Cinema.

The multi-million pound movie is the latest to roll off the Hollywood production line and the theme for the all-action motoring thriller is centered around the performance car culture that has taken the UK and other parts of the world by storm in recent years.

All of the vehicles that are featured in the Universal Pictures movie are decked out in distinctive body styling kits that are designed to make them look even more sleek and sporty – and that’s where Nemesis UK comes in.

The company is the official UK importer and distributor of the Veilside body styling components that have been extensively used in the latest ‘Fast and the Furious’ release, and in order to give the opening night at Birmingham’s top cinema some extra glitz and glamour, managing director Paul Tomlinson was asked to take a couple of his company’s racy machines to the opening event.

Story: VeilSide have been producing body kits for the Mazda RX7 since shortly after the car was launched in 1992. The range of body kits now available from VeilSide for the RX7 is both diverse and impressive to say the least, but they were missing one kit which when we heard was on the drawing board six months ago, we could not help but feel excited.

The Fortune body kits are VeilSide’s flagship designed models, having already produced Fortune kits for the Toyota Supra, Toyota MR-S and the legendary Honda NSX.

Now at long last a Fortune body kit is available for the RX7 and is wider and wilder than any of its design predecessors.

Title: Project Civic Type-R
Story: Our long running project Honda Civic Type-R (EP3) is nearing completion and is due to be rolling road tested in the imminent future.

The exterior features a Nemesis in-house designed and manufactured body kit with an adjustable Mugen rear spoiler and Perspex side and rear windows. Inside we have installed a full FIA approved roll cage, Willans harnesses and Sparco seat with the relocation of the battery housed in a carbon enclosed box in the rear of the car. The suspension utilises Tein Type Flex coilovers at each corner with rose jointed front lower arms. The brakes are Spoon mono block front callipers.

The engine modifications include Steel con rods, Steel pistons (high compression), 0.5mm head gasket, cylinder head machined to our own spec, Toda spec-A cams, titanium valve springs, Jenvey individual throttle body injection, Spoon 421 exhaust manifold, Motec M400 fuel management, Enjo Performance Poly engine mounts, electric vacuum pump, Spoon LSD and an Exedy Hyper single Carbon Clutch,

Title: Max Power Live Award
Story: The London Excel Centre played host to one of the UK’s biggest modified car meets of the year organised by Max Power.

Over the 2 day period the show saw thousands of modified car fans attend to view the latest in modified motors.

We saw this as the perfect opportunity to release the latest show car from the Nemesis workshop in the form of a Skyline R33 GTR which went on to take the most prestigious award - Car of the Show.

The car features modified Nissan 350Z arches over a VeilSide R33 GTR body kit with carbon rear spoiler and bonnet. The car also received an extensive custom interior re-trim to complete the finished overall look along with an exterior re-sprayed in Liquid Silver. The engine was then treated to a complete ground up rebuild based around a HKS 2.8 Stroker kit along with new turbo’s and various other tuning parts.

Story: VeilSide have just launched a new and incredible looking body kit for the legendary Honda NSX.

Realising that Honda are in the process of launching there new NSX, based on a completely new design and chassis, VeilSide have produced a new body kit to completely transform the look of the old NSX into something even the new NSX when launched will struggle to beat in terms of styling.

With the old shape NXS having been on the streets since 1990 there are excellent examples to be found for as low as £15,000.
