  If the words ‘Mitsubishi' and ‘EVO' aren't enough to set your heart racing, then you need not look any further!

The Mitsubishi EVO range has long been a favourite of ours… and one that is hard to improve on over standard, so we've decided to add a Veilside DTM body kit and various other performance products to create a menacing looking car that stands out in the crowd!
 Factory Specification
Mitsubishi's infamous EVO has a
long and illustrious history. Originally, the EVO was based on the Mitsubishi lancer, the company wanted to enhance the Lancer's flagging image by entering it into rallying competition.

The EVO was designed and built in record time, but to qualify for Group A rallying competition, at least 2500 units had to be sold, and thus the EVO saga began. Since then the EVO has evolved into a truly brutal machine, with a reputation for

being one of the 'true' performance cars available today. Now up to their eighth incarnation, each model has featured the same basic specification, but performance has been steadily increased each time. Each model features a mental high revving turbocharged 2 litre engine, producing an extremely high output, coupled to a superb all wheel drive system giving each EVO extreme levels of performance and handling. The Nemesis EVO is a sixth generation model, purchased in silver with GSR specification.
 Project Aims
Originally featuring one of only 3 Veilside DTM body kits in the world (including Veilside's own demo car!), Nemesis considers this a show car, with impressive performance to back it up!

In standard form, the EVO VI's looks are best described as menacing, brutal and unashamedly aggressive. Rather than trying to tone down these aspects, we chose to enhance them and create a car so un-subtle that it just screams for attention. The VeilSide DTM kit comprises a new front bumper, chunky side skirts, huge front and rear flared arches, rear bumper, rear spoiler and aero mirrors. It doesn't stop there though, the rear lights and side repeaters were replaced with clear items, the windows have been treated to a light smoke tint, and a full respray in Nemesis Smoke Silver has also been carried out.

Not content with the standard wheels, we complemented the DTM body kits looks by replacing them with a set of VeilSide Andrews racing wheels. Measuring 10x18 inch and shod in Goodyear eagle 265/35 rubber all round, these provide excellent traction as well as good looks.

The already superb handling of the EVO has been further improved upon with the addition of a fully adjustable Leda suspension set-up, allowing the Nemesis EVO to hug corners and stick to the road like glue.

With its now menacing looks, the incredible engine of the EVO needed some tweaking to match. We decided to get more power out of the stock turbo by fitting an Apexi boost control kit, an Apexi Power FC re-programmable ECU and commander along with a larger Pace intercooler to aid cooling. To allow the engine to breathe more efficiently, we fitted a Blitz induction kit, Magnex front and de-cat pipes, a VeilSide Titanium Teardrop exhaust system and a Cusco engine breather. Also fitted are HKS 274 cams and adjustable pulleys, HKS steel headgasket, Cusco battery relocation kit, HKS Iridium spark plugs and an up rated fuel pump to cope with the increased output. All this raised the power output from 276bhp to 374bhp @ 6,200rpm.

Of course we didn't forget to give our EVO some serious stopping power to go along with all this. The standard brake system has been replaced with Brembo callipers, fitted with Ferodo DS2500 pads. We also fitted braided brake lines and filled the system with competition brake fluid.

The interior has been left mostly standard, including the factory Racaro's, but we've changed the standard steering wheel and shift knob for VeilSide items.

In car entertainment includes a Panasonic LCD monitor CQVA707N, Panasonic DV2000 Navigation and DVD player, Infinity 652is Mids and tweeters, Alpine 12 inch sub (SW1240) in Perspex box and an Alpine Amplifier (V12 MRVF357).
