The Toyota Supra was originally designed as a ‘grand tourer' – Grand or Large being the key word!

A long favourite amongst modifying car fans around the world due to its excellent engine which provides a great platform to start work if ‘torque' is to be the order of the day… however the engine wasn't our only area of focus when developing our ‘Special.
 Factory Specification
There have been four generations of Toyota Supra. Starting as a variant of Toyota's Celica model, the fourth generation saw the Supra take on a life of its own and has become a firm favourite with performance enthusiasts the world over.

Featuring exotic looks, rear wheel drive and a high performance twin turbo inline six engine, the Supra's potential for modification is astronomical, with some Supra's producing over 1000bhp! The Nemesis fourth generation Supra is a 1993 model, originally purchased in twin turbo

form with a 5 speed manual transmission and coloured in silver. This particular Supra is a Japanese spec car, which has a lesser specification than the rarer UK versions, featuring larger brakes, bigger injectors, a different ECU, bodywork modifications and producing 33bhp more than their Japanese equivalents. Even so, in standard form the Supra's specification is nothing short of awesome.
 Project Aims
The Toyota Supra JZA80 is one of the most modified Japanese's cars and we just had to be apart of that crowd!

Our aim for this car is to produce a Supra for show grabbing attention and break away from the norm rather than opting for all out performance… We are sure this will follow at a later date though.
Nemesis UK Project Toyota Supra JZA80
We didn't have to search far for the perfect body kit and this came in the form of a VeilSide Fortune 03 which effectively leaves very little of the original body work remaining. With the low tarmac hugging front bumper and the extended arches not to mention the complete revised and recessed rear boot lid thing started to come together quickly in our bodyshop.

Once fitted and primed up in white we all debated what the final colour should be! However it just looked so sexy in white so we just new this was the way forwards. We began debating whether to go for a pearl or pearlescent white but in the end the solid polar white was the choice allowing the colour to not detract from the menacing looks of the body kit… Simple and clean cut is the result.

Finding wheels to fill the arches was going to be not easy not to mention a cheap task so in the end we opted for VeilSides own flagship model the Evolution V. With 19 inch by 12 inch diameter on the rear and 19 inch by 9 inch on the front once fitted these filled the arches to perfection. There was something just not quite right with the look though with the standard wheels being finished with a chrome rim and silver sprayed centres. It was back to the decision making and the question was asked what do we do now? After much starting at the car we began to question whether the centres would look better in a different colour so utilising our graphic designer we started playing with the wheels digitally on the computer. Gunmetal grey looked ok but this was to widely used so in the end we opted for the ultimate contrast… Jet Black. It was hard to visualise this on the computer so after splitting all of the rims in our workshop we gave them to our bodyshop for a re-spray. The end result speaks for its self… Perfection!

This is currently where the project is at and work continues forward at a fast pace so please check back in the near future as we update the progress of the cars transformation.

Next on the list of to-does is a full interior re-trim probably in dark red mixing both leather and alcantara with the possibility of a complete custom dash and boot build but this is yet to be decided.

The car when purchased was far from standard specification and many engine modifications had already been carried out and for the time being we are going to leave things as is but as stated before, this will soon be changing in the near future and already a complete VeilSide titanium exhaust system is on order.

Brakes are also soon to be up-rated and we have chosen to go for a big brake disc and calliper conversion manufactured by Rotora a legend in there own right!
