Our kit contains all the fluids you need to refresh your S550 Ford Mustang's drivetrain.

Syncro Shift® II:

BG Products Syncro Shift II is specially formulated for manual transmissions, trans-axles and transfer cases. It has shown proven performance in the Getrag MT82 and Tremec TR-3160 manual transmissions found in the S550 Mustang.

It is a fully synthetic API GL-4 gear lubricant blended to SAE 75W-80 viscosity to provide unmatched film strength and wear protection. It provides thermal stability, low-temperature fluidity, hot rattle suppression, noise dampening at operating temperature, outstanding extreme pressure characteristics, shear stability, smoother shifting characteristics, wear reduction (synchronizer, gears, bearings, shift fork), seal compatibility, and reduced maintenance costs.

Ultra-Guard® LS:

BG Products Ultra-Guard LS is a revolutionary multi-purpose synthetic gear oil compatible with all car and truck applications calling for GL-5 gear oil, especially those requiring limited slip function. It has shown proven performance in Traction-Lok and Torsen differentials found in the S550 Mustang.

It is a fully synthetic API GL-5 rated gear lubricant blended to SAE 75W-90 viscosity to provide the the ultimate protection for driveline components. It is formulated for maintaining system cleanliness, increased thermal stability, improved seal performance, quieter operation, and unsurpassed protection against wear, pitting, and corrosion.

Universal MGC:

BG Products MGC (Multi Gear Concentrate) prevents chatter in plate and clutch limited slip differentials. It contains specialised ingredients that ensure smooth and quiet differential gear operation and fortify gear lubricant additives.

Limited slip differentials can experience a loud chatter while turning caused by too much friction between plates in the system. BG Products MGC enhances lubricant film strength, improves thermal stability, and improves extreme pressure characteristics of any gear oil.

S550 Kit Contents:

• 3x BG Products Syncro Shift® II Fully Synthetic Gear Lubricant SAE 75W-80 (946mL/2838mL).
• 2x BG Products Ultra-Guard® LS Fully Synthetic Gear Lubricant SAE 75W-90 (946mL/1892mL).
• 2x BG Products Universal MGC (Multi Gear Concentrate) (177mL/354mL).
• Please note: Additional hardware such as a pump is not included. This kit contains fluids only.

Mach 1 Kit Contents:

• 3x BG Products Syncro Shift® II Fully Synthetic Gear Lubricant SAE 75W-80 (946mL/2838mL).
• 2x BG Products Ultra-Guard® LS Fully Synthetic Gear Lubricant SAE 75W-90 (946mL/1892mL).
• 3x BG Products Universal MGC (Multi Gear Concentrate) (177mL/531mL).
• Please note: Additional hardware such as a pump is not included. This kit contains fluids only.

Required Quantities:

Nemesis UK recommends the following quantities for the S550 Mustang 2.3L/3.7L/5.0L with the MT82 and the Mach 1 with the Tremec TR-3160:

• S550 MT82 Manual Transmission
• Use 2313mL of Syncro Shift II (a little over two and a half bottles.)
• Use 240mL of Multi Gear Concentrate additive (just under one and a half bottles.)
• S550 Differential
• Use 1514mL of Ultra-Guard LS (almost two full bottles.)
• Use 114mL of Multi Gear Concentrate additive (just under half a bottle.)

• Mach 1 Tremec TR-3160 Manual Transmission
• Use 2811mL of Syncro Shift II (just under three bottles.)
• Use 312mL of Multi Gear Concentrate additive (a little under two bottles.)
• Mach 1 Differential with 'Axle Cooling System'.
• Use 1746mL of Ultra-Guard LS (almost two full bottles.)
• Use 194mL of Multi Gear Concentrate additive (just one and a bit bottles.)

• * The Mach 1 uses a different transmission to the standard S550 models as well as a factory 'Axle Cooling System' for the standard rear differential. Please choose the appropriate option for the Mach 1 above, noting the different required quantities.
